Even before paper and books, there were... stories! Stories have always been told and always been loved, right from serious ones to downright crazy tales. Even in your family, surely your grannies and grandpas, uncles and aunts, and even cousins and parents have told you all sorts of stories. In fact, they would have heard these stories, or folk tales, from their grandparents and relatives.
